Deborah Henry’s sister Rebecca walks down the aisle!
7 Jan
Remember when TWG interviewed local celeb Miss Malaysia World Deborah Henry? Well, the wedding day finally arrived in December and saw Deborah’s elder sister Rebecca tie the knot with her long-term boyfriend Dinesh Noveland. As they are a Christian family, a traditional church wedding was held at St. Marys Cathedral in Kuala Lumpur.
Rebecca is lucky to come from a big family – rather than hire a wedding planner, she had a bevy of aunties and uncles who would come to the family home once a week or so for ‘meetings’!
These beautiful shots are done by The Photoz, one of the most sort after wedding studios in K.L. Rebecca’s gown is from an Australian designer, ‘Bride’s desire’ by Airs & Graces.
As the theme was yellow and white, the bridesmaids had lovely dresses designed and made my local Malaysian designer Melinda Looi.
The ‘boys’ were in fashion with matching yellow ties and corsages. Their lovely suits are from Wollenshop Vincent Tailor in Amcorp Mall.
With a great wedding, it’s the details that give it that extra something. The Henry’s chose to have a fountain of cupcakes from Wondermilk and also put up photos of family wedding pics – which I think is a really nice touch. Remember, a marriage is more than two people falling in love, it’s also about two families coming together. So it’s great to see ‘bits of history’ when you’re ‘making history’.
Don’t you think Rebecca makes a beautiful bride? I love these shots of her with the flowergirls… especially with just that touch of light on her veil.
And lastly, a family shot!
If you have a big and supportive family like this… you could get away with not using a wedding planner :)
Part 2 of Rebecca’s wedding will be up soon! xoxo

very nice wedding. i love the Church so much.
Yes, it’s beautiful. I really do like the yellow and white theme! And Bec’s gown is really nice.
Yup, nice theme. I still don’t know what my theme should be… definitely pastels…
i just love the yellow/grey colour theme. the groomsmen looked absolutely dashing!!
we were quite daring when we decided to go with yellow bridesmaid dresses. we thought we may end up looking like birds but the dresses really popped!!!
